Junior Golf

Cypress Lake is the perfect golf course for junior golf play. The Dick Wilson design allows an easy walk of the self contained course. Our young players choose the appropriate set of tees and away they go - a perfect challenge no matter their age or skill level. Reasonable lesson rates and several group opportunities to learn and improve their game make Cypress a great choice for families to share the game of a lifetime.

We at Cypress Lake Country Club are proud of our contributions to junior golf in our area, supporting several junior and senior high school golf teams. We also host a 54-hole junior golf event to show case junior golf talents and show off our golf course that is so conducive to the walking player.

“On Course Players”and “Rookies Players” Programs
“On Course Players” is for juniors who are ready to take their game to the links. This program is open to those junior members and their invited friends who have proven their ability to walk, count and play nine holes in a desirable amount of time.

For new players and those not quite ready for the “On Course Players, ”our “Rookies Players” program includes swing instruction, activities covering golf history, rules, etiquette and play of the game. It will be an opportunity for juniors ages 6 to 16 to learn and ask questions. This program is open to all members and their invited friends.

Nolan Henke/Patty Berg Junior Masters Pro Am
This fundraiser tournament supports the scholarship fund for the Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association which provides monies to graduating seniors and upper classman throughout their four years of college. Past tournament winners include LPGA and PGA tour players. The continued success of this event makes it a popular stop for top juniors and future tour stars.
